As someone that battles anxiety and depression, my mind often feels cluttered and overwhelmed. I heard that meditation would be a great way to relieve stress. Why not give it a try?
I realized that meditation is really hard. It’s definitely something that you have to continuously practice in order to improve. However, I think that the pay-off will be worth the challenge. I’ve really enjoyed the meditation classes that I’ve attended thus far. The classes allow you to focus on the inner workings of your body, rather than external forces in your environment.
The Art of Yoga studio works to provide free community classes around town. Instructors donate their time to promote wellness for the mind, body, and soul. If you’re feeling zen, feel free to drop a few bucks in the donation jar at the end of this free class. The space is incredibly welcoming to all persons looking to become in tune with themselves. All you need is a mat to sit on, and maybe a blankey or block. The studio does have these things on-hand, so just get your booty on over!
